When: Monday, April 6th, 3:00-5:00pm Where: MSB 3154/HSC 140 We have invited Nancy Dunlop, Career Counsellor at the Office of Health Professions & Student Affairs (OHPSA), to come in to provide an introductory presentation on CaRMS, including presenting some statistics on CaRMS match rates, addressing some common CaRMS myths, and addressing what we can do as incoming clerks to prepare for CaRMS. a CaRMS Information Session and Panel Discussion We have also invited a number of 1T5 students (who have just come out of the match) to share their experiences and expertise with you all. This session aims to provide a space for first year students to discuss their emotional struggles and experiences with cadaveric dissections, which is an integral part of the first year Structure and Function course. The session comprises of a mindfulness session led by mindfulness expert Michael Apollo, followed by a panel discussion comprised of 1T7s (second years) who will speak with first year students about the emotional aspects of their own experiences dealing with dissection last year.
