General CoordinatorThe General Coordinator ensures that adequate support is being provided to all SHINE leaders. The GC promotes SHINE initiatives and consults with OHPSA and UofT Medical Society (MedSoc) to identify student wellness gaps. The GC is largely responsible for overseeing the tasks and efforts of the SHINE team, as well as organizing funding and logistics of SHINE meetings and events. The GC liaises with the MedSoc VP Student Affairs, and represents the University of Toronto as a wellness officer on Canadian Federation of Medical Students (CFMS) National Wellness Roundtable meetings.

Wellness Ambassador Leads
The Wellness Ambassador Leads are responsible for the development and implementation of the Wellness Ambassadors program and the ongoing coordination and communication with student Wellness Ambassadors. They liaise with SHINE, OHPSA, MedSoc, and wellness ambassadors to increase accessibility and visibility of wellness resources. Responsibilities include organizing the recruitment and training of the Wellness Ambassadors team, spearheading program evaluation, and promoting of the Wellness Ambassadors Program to medical students.

Event and Student Engagement Portfolio Leads
The Wellness Programming Leads are responsible for organizing and promoting initiatives and events that encapsulate different aspects of wellness (physical, nutritional, social, emotional, financial) through the CFMS Longitudinal Wellness Initiative and the CFMS Wellness Challenge in the Spring. These include, but are not limited to, stressbuster events, seminars, panel events and workshops that promote health, well-being, and social networking within the medicine community. Wellness Programming Leads also collaborate with the Communication and Promotions Representatives to deliver SHINE programming through social media platforms.

Communications and Promotions Portfolio Leads
The Communication & Promotions Representatives are responsible for (1) designing and creating promotional materials using graphic design to promote SHINE programming and events, (2) advertising SHINE events through necessary channels, (3) taking photos at SHINE events, and (4) updating SHINE’s social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, website) in collaboration with our Wellness Programming Leads.
